Good colour, nose shows cherry fruit with dark chocolate flavours, well integrated silky tannin. Palate is mouth filling, surprisingly complex for such a young wine. A selection of new and second use French and American oak hogsheads. A great wine to consume now but will benefit greatly from several years maturation. A chorus of sweet, sensual sandalwood, nectarine and roasted almond, over a refrain of turmeric, praline and coffee.
